How we rate the games?
If you love boxing and a little bit of strategy, this game might be for you. Of course there are downsides to a game like this, such as a very short game with K.O on each round. If you level up enough, you can knockdown everyone, even when you are against yourself (literally). In real boxing, you can make money, train and buy new stuff so that you are ready for the next match. There are also minigames when training, which is somewhat silly since this is a game about boxing, not watching how the player boxes and you press buttons from your keyboard. On top of that, the speed training mini-game, never actually changes difficulty. The other ones, strength and stamina change, so this somehow means that the game was intentionally so easy, making the game very easy.
This is really stupid though, in a 3D boxing game in 2014 we have mini-games to train. Logically it would have been much more interesting to train yourself like in GTA San Andreas, but in this game you actually don't train at all. You just wait to press buttons and that is easy as hell. Even at the highest difficulty, you just press other buttons. Since we are talking about a boxing game, it would have come natural that the player could have trained left or right hand, or maybe the uppercut move over the other moves so he would have more stamina and strength with that move. A mini-game ruined it all, not even mentioning how easy it was to knock-out every single enemy and even if they get up, you still knock them down quicker than before. In real life that would have just been silly and the AI (artificial intelligence) would barely kick you and win the game. In the whole game I draw two times and one time I got knockedout because I wasn't powerful enough.
When getting to 100% all of the skills, the game becomes a real joke, especially with weak players. It seems that the game gets a little tougher if you raise the number of matches and the minutes to play each round. Both players though get tougher, so it will affect you too. This happens in single player mode with a weak AI, but you can also play against a friend or someone online using the multiplayer menu. The game itself is nice if we are talking about graphics and sometimes you might get in difficulty, especially when you are weak and don't have any strength. The game would have been amazing if you would have trained without mini-games and on top of all, the problem is that the game completes so easy.
The sounds of the game were amazing though. You would notice immediately that it gives you some kind of hype and usually in the entrance to the boxing ring, there is a different song. Unfortunately, the animation is really quick and the music barely playes. On top of this, the animations get repeated so many times, that you will feel bored in no time. Another thing to note is that the player movements are also repeated and sometimes the enemy boxer doesn't attack for a long time. At least the game was a good try in all sorts of it, but was notably incomplete.
Last but not least, the game itself was enjoyable but as long as you finish the game, it won't be anymore. It truly felt like an advanced online flash game with cool 3D graphics which is just to waste your time for 2 days and what's more, you can even accomplish the same league as times as you want. In case you are not strong enough, you just complete the same league again and then proceed to a more difficult one. (Like I did with the first league) This is all for today guys, if you truly enjoyed this review, don't forget to comment below or share on social networks.
