How we rate the games?
This game seems exactly like SimCity and if you have played that game before, you will recognize this one too. Since this game is a strategy game, you will need to learn stuff first, than play the game. Fortunately, it is very easy to understand the game after making some newbie tutorials. The game itself seems very enjoyable and if you like strategy games, this one is for you, just like me.
The graphics of the game are much more powerful and you get more complex graphics than the other ones. You can zoom now even more and look the whole map or go inside a home situated in your city. I liked the idea of development time of a construction where you needed to wait some time for the building to be constructed and the building itself self-constructed little by little with some cool graphics features.
Optimization is the disappointing thing this game has. Multi-core cpu features nowadays are very common, this is what its fans where waiting for. Unfortunately, the game runs only in single core and its really absurd if you really think that strategy games really need a lot of processing power to simulate everything. The game will run much slower than expected and from the last of its series, you won't see any improvement at all, except its graphics. The idea of the game is very concise since you could build roads and a lot of stuff for your city. The streets are the link to your city and without them, your city is impossible to move on with its economy. This happens in real life too, since without roads, there is no movement. The idea of the game is to create cities near your roads and industrial places where your inhabitants will find jobs, lowering unemployment. There are also offices and places where you will sell your production.
There are workers with higher qualifications, which will be more productive in your city. There are also bigger homes where you can put more inhabitants, but before you can do these things, you will have to unlock them in the level you are. Once you pass the level, everything or almost everything will start from the ground up. You will have to be a real strategist because it will be very difficult for you to make the economy grow.
The sound seems alright, but not good either. There was nothing really special with it, just some sound effects when you zoom in your camera. Overall, the game is very fun, but the one-core bad optimization and no changes at all in the gameplay from the last one, simply ruined a lot of enthusiasm.
