Nier Automata saved Platinum Games
While this might sound interesting, and I know much of you guys have already played the amazing game, it literally saved Platinum from being closed and it was maybe its last shot to save the company. Most of people who enjoyed the game believed that the game was made by a triple A studio, which sure was, but it was going to fall without this game. They originally planned on making another game, but instead focused the whole team on launching Nier Automata.
If you ask me, it is by far one of the greatest games ever released and maybe the best game for PC this year. Most of its sales were from PS4 but on PC they also sold quite well. Those millions of sales saved the entire company and they are planning on making a new Nier Automata 2 and are already scouting for new talents to jump on board. The game is literally the best game of the year as of right now, but who knows what will happen by the end of this year.
Platinum Games had 20 years of experience developing games and it was struggling, literally for years until it finally released Nier Automata, thus saving itself from closing down. The players who did play and enjoy this game were happy but unfortunately it had technical issues on PC which hurt the reviews quite considerable. Still the game scored 7 out of 10 on steam and the game scored even higher on other websites. The good thing about the game was its art, long playability, animations, cinematics and lost of interesting interactive moments while fighting the robots.
Very intriguing idea for such a game, which we have never seen before and it feels good to be alive in 2017. This might sound right but at the time of writting, they have still not released a patch to fix resolution issues and others had to create a mod, which somewhat fixes some ridiculous issues and this is quite disatisfying to see other common people make the 3rd party patch for Platinum games. The game is selling with a lowered price right now so you might want to check it out.
