Raven Ridge Upcoming APU
So far we have seen Ryzen coming to power, but what if we saw an APU with Zen cores? So far from latest news, Raven Ridge was 50% faster with single core benchmark and 90% faster in multicores benchmarks. Now this is quite interesting, but at the same time this is no surprise. Even more interesting would be to see the speed of the GPU that is sporting with these new APUs. Also the new Raven Ridge will have the same previous southbridge as the previous generation, but we are more interested into the graphics power.
One question would be, would this APU run all 1080p games in 30 FPS? Or maybe 60 FPS? It is time to say goodbye to huge amounts of money trashed out for playing a game in 1080p in 60 FPS, but I am not the one to affirm that. We have to wait and see how cheap it is going to become to play the latest games in 1080p. Wouldn't this new technology be way faster and much better than everything we have seen before? Or Ryzen was way better because it was a solo CPU and not CPU+GPU.
Let's wait and see what happens later this year. Leave your comment below and until next time!Discuss more on the forums
