GPU prices spike!
So lately we have heard this news about GPU prices going higher than ever. I want to point out that right now is not a good time to buy a new GPU. Mainly because of the price spike. Main reason for this spike, and I know it's not a good thing for us gamers, is that miners have started to buy the new Vega cards and use the GPUs for mining bitcoins. Certainly this is not a great thing, but I don't have any idea when those prices will come to a certain level that they were before. All we can do for now is to wait.
Apart from waiting, there is still not a great card I can suggest to buy right now, but the GTX 1050 and GTX 1060 are the best cards you can get if you just want to play in 1080p. While you could have bought like a year ago, a much cheaper card that performed better, today it is almost impossible to find the right price for a budget gaming PC. Let alone if you want to play in VR or 4K. The price will certainly drop in the future though and this will tremendously help the players and gamers have a great time with their PCs.
I am personally waiting for the new Zen Apus just to know how good they will perform. If they will perform at the level of GTX 1050, it will certainly bring much joy into the 1080p gamers as you will be able to handle all games with one cpu combine with gpu together. The DDR4 memory speed also will help the GPU integrated inside the CPU tremendously, as they were number one factor that increased the Apus GPU speed.
For now though, I would strongly suggest to just wait and whatch what happens. Wish you best of luck in your GPU choices! :)
