The Sims 4 won't have any pools or toddlers, pretty crazy if you ask me. A huge dissapointment for all The Sims fans since even the Sims 1 had the pool. Does this mean that we are going torwards a technology degradation? Of course, I mean this is just another bad news. We barely see any new feature which would revolutionize the gaming industry, only worse things with 'better experience'. What The Sims fans would suspect is to add the pool and toddler into an awesome expansion, like they always do. Unfortunately, no matter how cool those new features will be, there is a big reason why there wasn't any The Sims 4 in a long time.
Think about it, The Sims 3 had everything possible for such a game, what would they even include more? Unfortunately, from their reply, they only wrote 'better', but nothing really new. Basically it would be more intuitive if you don't run to buy the game and wait for the reviews when it comes out. We really don't expect major improvements about graphics too, since The Sims 3 is still quite good and this kind of game is more about the gameplay. Instead of revolutionalizing the gameplay, they improve the previous things and remove things that were vital to the gameplay itself. There is no real reason to remove them, unless they are going to release an unfinished game which would have been better if they won't release it at all.
The Sims 3 had everything needed, but the fourth won't be having anything new, because that's all to real life. Also, the expensions made it nearly impossible to miss anything about the last Sims, so this new one would be trashed out already. Imagine if they release The Sims 4 only for consoles, it would be a disaster. First GTA V, then The Sims 4? What would gamers expect from these developers anymore?
