Google forces users to switch to Google+
Google has tried several times to make it's G+ social network compete with other networks. Unfortunately, it has been a great dissapointment and there are even proverbs like "None said: Add me on Google Plus". This is quite true, especially when they added the big cover which ultimately destroyed a lot of attention from users. Looks like even if you have a great online presence like Google, that is not enough to become successful on other stuff. Google is definitively striving to win the market as much as possible, but it won't always work.
So they come up with an exciting new feature on Youtube, that you will receive inbox messages on G+ not on Youtube. This was a very interesting move to win the market. This is what comes up today on the inbox: "Most comment notifications will now be delivered by Google+ and not to your inbox." This means that not all, but most like 70-90% of stuff will go to G+. Nice trick but would that work? We clearly expect some angry Youtube users for sure.
We wait to see Google to stretch its legs even more with those moves and cannot wait to see the impact on the internet. One thing is for sure, Google Plus didn't work as a social network.Discuss more on the forums
